Country Head – India

N-Drip is an Israeli company on a mission to save water resources while supporting agriculture around the world. Our disruptive gravity-powered micro-irrigation solutions and our decision support system, N-Drip Connect™, enable sustainable farming and an efficient water-energy-food cycle.

As we begin our fourth operational year in India, we are looking for a self-motivated Country Head to lead our local team and activities, as well as expanding our business to fulfil our mission throughout the country.

Main responsibilities

• Managing the team in India – currently 15 employees, but growing fast.
• Liaising with N-Drip’s head office in Israel to develop strategies for sales and operations at the regional, state and whole-country levels.
• Managing government relations, ensuring regulatory compliance and establishing grower entitlement to subsidies.
• Preparing annual and quarterly work plans and identifying the necessary resources to achieve the company’s goals in terms of sales, customer satisfaction and profitability.
• Managing all operations and logistics for timely and quality supply.
• Developing partnerships with stakeholders.
• Initiating and promoting sales with potential partners and distributors in strategic areas.

Skills and qualifications

• A master’s degree in a relevant field, from a high-ranking academic institution.
• Fluent English – both written and spoken.
• Ability to communicate in multiple local languages – preferred.
• Experience of managing at least 50 workers, in companies with a budget exceeding $10M.
• At least 10 years’ proven experience in the agriculture sector in India.
• Proven experience in business development, logistics, and finance.
• Experience working in a multinational company.

Additional notes:

• The main Indian office is in Delhi, however this role requires travel all over the country, as well as frequent communication with N-Drip’s HQ in Israel.
