R&D Technician

N-Drip is on a mission to save water resources while supporting agriculture around the world. Our disruptive gravity-powered micro-irrigation solutions and our decision support system, N-Drip Connect™, enable sustainable farming and an efficient water-energy-food cycle.

We are looking to recruit an R&D technician to work on various R&D projects. This position is suitable for candidates who are earlier in their careers and looking to grow, and have an inherent drive and desire to continuously learn and improve.

Main responsibilities

• Carrying out complete installation of drip irrigation and components.
• Maintaining and operating experimental irrigation systems at multiple farms and project sites.
• Observing, measuring and reporting irrigation system data.
• Ongoing troubleshooting of existing and N-Drip systems.

Skills and qualifications

• Personal or professional technical irrigation experience.
• Hands-on experience in one or more of the following fields: agriculture, agronomy, farming, precision agriculture, turf, hardscaping, landscaping, ranching, general maintenance, plumbing, and irrigation.
• Basic technical, mechanical, and electronic skills.
• Current driver’s license – a requirement.

• Able to lift 50 pounds with no mobility limitations.
• Able to work collaboratively with multiple teams and locations.
• A team player, with a collaborative approach.
• Willing and able to work outside in all seasons.

• This role involves daily travel within Arizona.
